Custom-Made Ties for Men

I created Howard's Paris in 1997 , then Frédéric Costa in 2024. From the beginning, complete control over the product from A to Z was a given. Today, the team has grown, and the three of us are moving forward on this adventure . and share our passion . We do not only make ready-to-wear shirt and tie collections but also offer a bespoke service , in store at 45 rue d'Amsterdam , in the 8th arrondissement of Paris, or remotely , by telephone .

We produce in a traditional way custom-made ties ( 3 or 7 folds ), bow ties (Tie or adjustable), formal cravats , tuxedo belts , dress ascots or for special occasions , and also clutches matching the latter.

Among our very wide selection of fabrics , we are pleased to offer you more than 2,000 different options , available at our workshop. This range of fabrics is divided into several categories , including silk, wool, tweed, grenadine, linen, and cotton. and many more.

To start :

The basic characteristics of a tie

You begin the adventure by choosing the fabric whichever you like, then choose the width and the length of the tie. Anything is possible , but we recommend, depending on your body type and the jacket lapels you usually wear, a width The tie width should be between 6 and 10 cm , to avoid looking excessive. The same applies to the length . Based on your height, we recommend keeping it between 130 and 170 cm for a more elegant look . of tie .

Once the fabric , width and length are determined Choose, it's up to you how you fold it of your tie and its lining , if you require one. We offer the traditional folding method . 7 -ply , or basic : 3-ply . For the more discerning and knowledgeable among you, we can offer a 9 or 12-ply fold .

Whether lined or unlined, with a wool or silk lining , your tie should reflect your personality . To achieve this, we offer a personalization service , allowing you to make it as unique as possible.

Finally, we created some lovely little details to enhance and add a little bit of "you" in your custom-made tie. We want you to be proud to make and wear your tie, your creation ... because it's uniquely yours.

Our bespoke tie customization service

Visible on the back of the tie , you can, once again, choose everything . We have therefore made sure to create and offer you details that are both subtle and... and visible to the one who will appreciate the work of a craftsman .

These are our own finishing touches : one or more travettos , a daisy stitch , a saddle stitch , cross stitches , with or without a bridle ; they will be assembled and embroidered by hand by our seamstresses in the workshop.

The price of our custom-made ties depends on the fabric and details that you would like to have on your tie. The basic price for a custom-made tie, all inclusive, is 169 euros ; its production time is 4 weeks .
