Our denim fabric

Many of you actually tend to confuse it with denim.

Origin of denim

Denim is a French fabric whose term is derived from "Serge of Nîmes" .

Originally a basic fabric, denim had a low production cost for the city of Nîmes.

He has since been known to be a ultra-resistant fabric And easy to maintain.

Armor refers to the mode of interweaving of warp threads (wire placed lengthwise) and weft threads (thread placed in width) in the material.

Together they form the fabric.

Denim is a fabric with twill weave : sturdy and slightly thick weave.

Its warp threads, colored indigo blue, intertwine with its white weft threads.

To go into a little more detail about weaving, the interlacing of these two threads is very tight. This is the result of the effect "gap" which is easily visible on denim.

I decided to decline denim: denim jacquard , denim chambray and denim printed.

Jacquard is a weaving technique which is used to highlight multiple colors. The patterns are not printed on the fabric but woven.

This technique brings relief pattern and of the nobility to the fabric.

The fabric is therefore reversible.

I also decided to mix chambray with denim.

Chambray, a fabric with plain weave is distinguished from denim, a fabric twill weave.

Chambray has no right or wrong side, while denim has a slanted effect on the right side.

I'll let you discover them...
