It's simply a nod to my Grandma Marguerite .
My grandmother who came every day during 20 years old in the shop, of 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. , encourage me and watch work .
We had this routine , until its 85 years old to eat a flan, all freshly bought at the bakery just opposite , to talk and exchange .
Seeing her arrive was my pleasure of the day. Hers was to be spectator .
She looked at me and didn't speak.
No one saw her, but she was there .
She saw me grow up and with her maternal gaze, she represented the shadow of my mother.
When she left, I was very sad.
I had a hard time getting over his disappearance. I didn't feel like going on anymore, I wanted to stop and devote myself to something else.
Or, I needed create a very special piece . A piece who looked like me and who looked like him .
I needed to create something for remember her .
And so one day, I drew a 6-petal daisy in the workshop.
So I decided to use it. create something unique with this daisy .
And for the For the very first time , I started making 7-ply ties .
The beginning of my 7-ply ties
But not only that. I also wanted to work with a noble fabric, exceptional.
The exception was already in my mind, in the symbol of the daisy , in the folding .
But not in the fabric .
I immediately thought of Loro Piana .
I have so much admiration for their work. that I knew I had to do a wool and cashmere tie .
Invent it in 7 folds .
It's completely possible!
Loro Piana is recognized worldwide for their cashmere quality . Their cashmere fiber is the rarest and most refined to the world.
An exceptional material for my 7-ply tie.
I was convinced of what I wanted. Create a 7-fold tie , embroidered with a daisy, made of exceptional wool and cashmere.
Why not?
The adventure tempted me , and too bad if it didn't please me. I did it before anything else In my opinion and in souvenir for my grandmother.
I had afraid to start in something never seen before, to make high-end products .
She was my greatest achievement .
This is the tie I have the best seller , my greatest success. Why? The authenticity, creativity, passion and heart that I put into it.
She made me famous. Everyone was talking about her.
This tie is therefore the shop signature .
My grandmother gave me the courage and the desire to move forward , to recapture , start my adventure again .
This is my helping hand from heaven . She taught me not to never stop of do what I love .
This daisy represents much more than embroidery in the end .
It represents the beginning of my success and renewal.
So I like to say that elegance is discretion .
Elegance was my grandmother looking at me, sitting in the back of the shop, whom no one noticed because she was so discreet.
This is the embroidered daisy on my very first 7 fold tie and on these flannel scarves .
This daisy is the springboard to my career as a tie maker.
And I wanted it share with you because she is also the trigger of the creation of these flannel scarves .
Since then, I create because it moves me, because I have fun.
