Silk grenadine is designed on old looms dating, for the most part, from the 19th century. These machines are only present in Europe and very few are still active today which creates a certain rarity .
The daily production of a loom is extremely reduced given its age and the weaving method. For example: The loom above has a daily production of between 12 and 20 meters.
Assembly
There cutting and the assembly of a grenadine tie ask for a know-how just as rare of which only a few workshops have the secret.
From Italian « garza » (gaze in French) for his transparent appearance , grenadine must be accompanied by matching linings for each color , so as not to create competition between the colors.
Uses
To the border between woven silks and knitting , grenadine ties offer new assortment perspectives and are therefore very interesting for cultivating your elegance and enhance your bets.

Large mesh "Big Garza"
Due to its earlier creation, the large mesh grenadine is best known than the small mesh.
